160TH ANNUAL NATIONAL GRANGE CONVENTION
Join Grange members from across the nation for the 160th Annual National Grange Convention, November 9–14, 2026, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Whether you're a first-time attendee or a returning delegate, Convention is where the Grange comes together to celebrate our accomplishments, shape our future, strengthen friendships, and experience the very best of our organization.
As we gather for our 160th Convention, you'll find speakers and workshops that will inspire, opportunities to connect with Grangers of all ages, a showcase of the best of the region, vendors, and chances to speak with sponsors and partners, and a chance to experience the hospitality and culture of Oklahoma, as well as the work of the National Grange. From the Welcome Dinner on November 8 through the Celebration Banquet on November 14, this week will be filled with learning, fellowship, and memories that will last long after you return home. We hope you'll make plans now to be part of this historic gathering as we launch a year-long celebration of the National Grange's 160th anniversary.

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this year’s convention a welcoming, successful, and memorable experience for everyone attending. Whether you can help greet guests, assist with events, support activities, or simply lend a helping hand where needed, your time and talents can make a huge difference.

Geoffrey Standing Bear
Geoffrey Standing Bear
Geoffrey Standing Bear served three terms as Principal Chief of the Osage Nation, during which he advanced initiatives aimed at the preservation and revitalization of Osage culture, language, and territorial sovereignty.
Prior to his tenure as Principal Chief, Standing Bear practiced law for more than three decades, with a primary focus on federal Indian law. His public service includes roles as Assistant Principal Chief of the Osage Tribe (1990–1994) and as a member of the Osage Nation Congress (2010–2014). During his legal career, he participated in some of the earliest Indian gaming cases in Oklahoma and later served as General Counsel to the Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association.
In 2017, Standing Bear was named Oklahoman of the Year by Oklahoma Magazine in recognition of his leadership. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law.
Standing Bear’s leadership legacy within the Osage Nation is characterized by efforts to expand the Nation’s land base, sustain and strengthen cultural traditions, and promote the revitalization of the Osage language as a living, everyday means of communication. Central to his philosophy is the conviction that the Nation’s future resides in its youth; accordingly, he has emphasized the collective responsibility to support, protect, and nurture Osage children as foundational to long-term sovereignty and cultural continuity.
Jay Snider
Poet Laureate
Jay Snider, Oklahoma State Poet Laureate
Jay Snider was born and raised in southwest Oklahoma and calls Cyril, Oklahoma home. Born to a ranching and rodeo family, his dad is a top roper and rodeo cowboy and his granddad a brand inspector for Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. He rodeoed throughout most of his early years and now stays busy raising ranch horses, cattle, and team roping.
Jay has appeared at many of the major poetry gatherings around the country, such as the Texas Cowboy Poetry Gathering, the Arizona Cowboy Poets Gathering, the Cochise Cowboy Poetry and Music Gathering, and the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko, Nevada. Jay has also been honored to be a part of the Red Steagall Cowboy Gathering as an invited poet and one of the feature poets for many years. In July of 2001, Jay was honored to have been chosen by CowboyPoetry.com to be the fifth Lariat Laureate winner.
Jay’s cowboy poetry CD “Of Horses and Men” was named “Cowboy Poetry Recording of the Year” by the Academy of Western Artists for 2006 and was honored to receive the male “Cowboy Poet of the Year” by the Academy of Western Artists in 2008.
Jay’s latest CD, “The Old Tried and True,” is a compilation of many of his favorite classic poems written by many of the great cowboy poets of the past.
