Two reach 70 years as Grange members

ADRIAN TWP.  —  Donald Beebe of Adrian Township and Iris Stout of Dover Township are celebrating 70 continuous years of membership in the Grange.

More formally, that’s the National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry, founded in 1867 to give voice to farmers, and a presence in rural America ever since.

During a recognition at the June 14 Rome Grange meeting, Beebe and Stout received seals that members get every five years after 50 years of Grange membership. The seals go in a book presented at 50 years of members.
