The National Grange Petitions FCC to Expedite Expansion of Rural Broadband
The National Grange joined 24 agriculture, rural, health care and food groups to petition the Federal Communications Commission to open further rulemaking to expedite expansion of rural broadband. The petition asked the FCC to better enable the use of TV White Spaces to bridge the digital divide. The use of TVWS frequencies technology is more economical than other means to reach small customers in remote and hard-to-reach areas.
