Sean O’Neil

Sean O’Neil is a 2021 graduate of the George Washington University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics, and is currently serving as a legislative assistant at the National Grange. Sean is originally from Lansing, New York, a small town in the finger lakes region, where he spent his free time tending the family garden and learning about the outdoors as a Boy Scout.
While at George Washington University, Sean served as President of the Debate & Literary Society through which he competed in intercollegiate debate competitions and won 2 National Championships. During his undergraduate studies prior to joining the National Grange Sean also worked in the office of Congressman Erik Paulsen, the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, the Embassy of France to the United States, the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association, and the Military Commissions Defense Organization in the United States Department of Defense. As well, in 2020 Sean was accepted to Harvard Law School through the Junior Deferral Program and will begin his studies there in the fall of 2023.
As a legislative assistant at the National Grange, Sean works on every aspect of the National Grange’s legislative advocacy efforts from Congress to the White House.
