National Grange Outlines Broadband Funding Priorities for Congress

New broadband funding is $65 billion in the proposed bipartisan infrastructure package being negotiated on Capitol Hill. The National Grange outlined priorities for the negotiators that are necessary to reach the last mile and last acre of rural America with high speed connectivity. These are to connect the truly unserved areas first, speeds must be 23/3 Mbps or higher, all technologies and providers should be eligible for funding, and rights-of-way and pole attachment issues must be mitigated.
