Chris has always been passionate of the ritualistic work and lessons of the Grange. He has served many positions in his Subordinate and Pomona Granges as well as Assistant Steward for eight years and Steward for three years for the State Grange before being elected Master.
Chris works at the Meijer Distribution Center in Lansing, Michigan where he continues his eleventh year of employment. Besides Grange activities, he also enjoys hunting and the outdoors.
Chris married Connie Reamer, a fourth generation Granger, in 2002. She works as an Administrative Assistant at Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan. She served as the Lady Assistant Steward for the state for nine years and now besides her role as First Lady, she is also the State Junior Director. Chris and Connie met in the Grange when they attended youth/young adult camps which lead them to later serve as the Youth/Young Adult Directors for several years. They have twin sons, Marcus and Cory, who are just starting school and have recently been able to join the Junior Grange.
The Grange has been a very influential part of Chris and Connie’s lives. They have grown through the many opportunities the Grange has to offer. Chris is now excited to serve the Grange at the National level.
