The
National Grange Medicare-Approved Discount Card Educational Program
Your Grange will be able to participate in up to three programs. Please read the
program descriptions below carefully and indicate which program(s) your Grange
would like to participate in.
Program
1 - Spreading the Word to Your Community
If your Grange decides to participate
in Program 1, it will be asked to:
Distribute fact sheets and posters to your community's senior centers, senior
housing communities, libraries, churches, senior events or any place where seniors
frequent, as well as have them available at your Grange hall.
Program
2 - Educating Your Community
If your Grange decides to participate in
Program 2, it will be asked to:
Host a community meeting to conduct a pre-designed informational session for Grange
and community members. The National Grange will provide your Grange with an instructional
guide on how to conduct the session, which includes a PowerPoint or overhead presentation,
a presentation guide, a narrative script and fact sheets for distribution.
Program
3 - Sharing with Your Community
If your Grange decides to participate
in Program 3, it will be asked to:
Provide Medicare drug discount card information when your Grange participates
in a town, county or state fair. The National Grange will provide your Grange
with a counter sign and a banner for your fair booth, as well as fact sheets to
distribute at your booth.
Upon
completing your Grange's chosen program, you will be asked to complete an evaluation
form. Once the National Grange receives your form, your Grange will be awarded
a certificate (Program 1) or a plaque (Program 2 and 3) that can be displayed
in your Grange Hall.
