Klenklen Named National Grange Chairman of the Board of Directors Washington,
February 3, 2004 - The National Grange Board of Directors named Kevin Klenklen
Chairman at their January 23-24, 2004 meeting. Klenklen was elected to the National
Grange Executive Committee in 2002. He is also a member of Pleasant View Grange
#1459 and Jefferson County Pomona Grange #10.
Klenklen
relinquished his State Master's position in 2002 after seven years. He has held
the offices of Kansas State Overseer and Gatekeeper, as well as many offices and
committee chair positions on the local and county level. Klenklen
currently holds the position of the Regional Business Development Manager for
the R.J. Corman Derailment Services, LLC, which is a company that provides emergency
response services handling the rerailing of freight cars and locomotives. In 1994,
the Kansas Emergency Management Association honored Klenklen as "Director of the
Year." This honor was in recognition for his work developing the 911 Call Center
in Jefferson County, Kansas while serving as the county's Emergency Management
Director. In addition, he is a past board member of several emergency response
organizations at both the local and state levels. Klenklen
earned a degree in Emergency Medical Sciences at Johnson County Community College
in Overland Park, Kansas. He has been an Emergency Medical Technician, Firefighter
and Paramedic. When
he is not attending Grange meetings or volunteering at Grange events, he collects
construction equipment and spends time with his wife, Jamie, two children and
two grandchildren, who are all active in the Grange. The family resides in Ozawkie,
Kansas on Perry Lake. |
