DOWNTOWN DISTRICTS
Downtown is filled with vibrant districts, full of shopping,
restaurants and entertainment spots—all within walking distance
of the Greater Columbus Convention Center. The ever-growing
Arena District surrounds Nationwide Arena, while the Short
North Arts District houses the best collection of art alleries
between New York and Chicago. South of downtown
are the historic Brewery District and German Village, filled with charming brick
homes, shops, restaurants and nightlife.

Easton Town Center packages high-end
stores with dining and entertainment, while
Polaris Fashion Place has seven anchors
including Saks Fifth Avenue. Downtown is
home to City Center Mall. Best-of-class and

restaurants serving everything from gourmet to comfort foods

North Market downtown, Ohio’s only public market, offers the

Experience Columbus’ thriving performing and visual arts scene with
touring Broadway performances and professional ballet, symphony,
opera, acting troupes and world-class museums. Downtown’s Theatre
Row showcases the city’s performing arts in a trio of lavishly restored

THINGS TO DO
There are so many attractions in Columbus that you could visit

The Columbus Museum of Art is featuring many
of Pierre-Auguste Renoir’s most noted paintings in
“Renoir’s Women.” It’s the first-ever exhibit to focus on his
depictions of women—one of his favorite subjects. Learn about
Ohio’s gardening past and current landscaping trends at “Ohio’s
Garden Path” at the Ohio Historical Center. Enjoy taste-testing
and more at “The Amazing Chocolate Tree” at the Franklin Park
Conservatory. Or start your holiday celebration early at Wildlights
at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. The grounds are illuminated
with more than two millions lights. Plus, you’ll enjoy horse-drawn
wagon rides, carolers, ice skating and live reindeer.
