is an invitation for your Grange to enter into the renewal programs of the 21st
century. Become part of the growing number of Granges that are taking action to
get their membership and their communities involved in projects and programs that
establish a name for their local organization, and build interest and support
for the Grange itself.
This
program requires the investment of time and dollars. The application fee is $25
per person for former Grange Action
participants OR $100 per group for new participants per seminar. This fee entitles
the Grange to be represented by a team of participants, at least three, and preferably
four. It covers the cost of materials covered at the seminar, and guidelines for
use back home.
Seminars are usually conducted over a weekend, starting at 7:00 P.M. on a Friday
evening, and closing prior to noon on Sunday. The cost of travel, meals and lodging
are the responsibility of the Grange and the participants.
What
will you get? Professionally
conducted seminars. Lots of ideas being shared by other participants, and those
who have already spent a year with the program. Encouragement. An electronic "hot
line" to the facilitator, Sally Crosiar, and the National Grange Master, as well
as other Granges in the program.
