2014 Legislative Fly-In

Join us in Washington, D.C. April 6-8th as we meet with our Congressional Delegates and advocate for a stronger rural America!

Fly-In attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet with their elected representatives in Congress and their staff to discuss the issues facing our nation today.

In preparation for these meetings, experts from all over Washington will brief Grangers on relevant issues that are having an impact on the Grange, rural America and local communities all over the country.

Sunday, April 6
3:30 PM – Briefing
5:00 PM – Press Release Preparation by National Communications Director Amanda Leigh Brozana
Dinner and Workshop

Monday, April 7
9:30 AM – Pentagon Tour – Anyone who wishes to go on the tour MUST submit their social security number for background check; * Must be able to walk at least 1.5 miles
12:15 PM – Lunch and Presentation of William Saunders Award for Rural Awareness presented by Grange Advocacy
Afternoon – Visits to Capitol Hill
Dinner with Speaker

Tuesday, April 8
Issues Breakfast at National Grange Headquarters
Visits to Capitol Hill as scheduled.
