I am a fifth generation Grange member in Connecticut. I come from a family who were not only active in the Grange, but have made it an integral and beloved cornerstone of their lives. My great-great-grandparents were Charter Members of Winchester Grange. Our family even had their own Installing Team for over 50 years. From the time I was old enough to sit still, I would travel with my Grandmother and always sit on the piano bench next to her. I loved being a part of our family’s Installing Team while I was in my 20s. Grange was always there growing up, and was always just a natural part of my life. The Grange has groomed many of my personal characteristics – leadership skills, self-confidence, the drive to succeed and more.
